2012 Formula 1 British Grand Prix
After visiting the Monza and Barcelona to watch Formula 1 racing the past 2 seasons, we thought we’d stay closer to home this year and visit Silvertsone for the 2012 Formula 1 British Grand Prix.
With tickets and camping having been booked through BookF1, we loaded up the car with our camping gear and waterproofs and head down to Silverstone. After Britain experienced one of the wettest summers ever it was never going to be the cleanest weekend!
However despite the rains best effort, it was a brilliant weekend. I was really hoping this year that I would see Lewis Hamilton win however it wasn’t to be. A great drive from Mark Webber meant he won his 2nd British Grand Prix in 3 years.
