The Day We Sailed Along The Leeds/Liverpool Canal

What happens when you take 10 people who have never sailed a boat before and put them in a Canal Barge on the Leeds/Liverpool Canal for the day?  Well surprisingly, the day was all plain sailing (*boom boom*).

We picked up our barge from Ellerbeck Narrowboats in Heath Charnock, Chorley and we headed up the Leeds/Liverpool Canal towards Wigan.  After a quick pitstop at Kirklees Hall Inn we headed back and even had time for a Fredrick’s Ice Cream.
